SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Technician

The SMT Machine Operator is responsible for the assembly of surface mount components on a high-speed assembly line. You enjoy the challenge of building cutting edge technology and take pride in your work.

Essential Functions:

  • Runs SMT machines that place up to 160,000 components per hour
  • Loads and unloads SMT feeders for your assembly line
  • Inspects PCBs to IPC610 Class II & Class III standards
  • Assembles low to medium volume PCBAs to exacting standards
  • Interprets customer specifications and assembly drawings
  • Promotes a sense of urgency and teamwork
  • Ensures safety by maintaining the highest safety standards
  • Inspects and measures assemblies to verify conformance to specifications
  • Participates in cross-training to expand your capabilities and skill set at Circuit Pak
  • Helps ensure procedures and records are current and ready for any audits
  • Work extended hours based on company needs
  • Other duties as assigned. If you want a narrowly defined role, do not apply.

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience in Production environment
  • Knowledge of bare boards and electronic components

Physical Demands:

  • Physical demands are those of a typical office/manufacturing environment. Must occasionally lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds
  • Lifting and moving around components, carts, and boxes.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must be detail oriented and organized
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Must be a quick learner and enjoy learning new things
  • Ability to manage time and work well with others
  • Collaborative approach to work

Solder Technician

The solder technician is responsible for soldering both through-hole and SMT components on Circuit Pak’s PCB production floor. You are a “soldering specialist” that will operate and maintain Wave Solder, Selective Solder and other solder equipment. Mechanical aptitude is highly recommended. You enjoy the challenge of soldering, maintaining and being a critical part of the electronic soldering process.

Essential Functions:

  • Operates Wave Solder and Selective soldering machines
  • Maintains equipment to ISO & Circuit Pak Standards
    • mechanical aptitude is highly recommended
  • Enjoys and understands the fundamentals and mechanics of machines and how they work
  • Inspects PCBs to IPC610 Class II & Class III standards post soldering
  • Solders low to medium volume PCBAs to exacting standards
  • Interprets customer specifications and assembly drawings
  • Rework components as needed
  • Promotes a sense of urgency and teamwork
  • Ensures safety by maintaining the highest safety standards
  • Inspects and measures assemblies to verify conformance to specifications
  • Participates in cross-training to expand your capabilities and skill set at Circuit Pak
  • Helps ensure procedures and records are current and ready for any audits
  • Work extended hours based on company needs

Thru Hole Assembler

The thru hole assembler is responsible for hand placing thru hole components on Circuit Pak’s PCB assembly line. You enjoy the challenge of inspecting, placing and building PCBs.

Essential Functions:

  • Assembles low to medium volume PCBAs to exacting standards
  • Masks assemblies prior to populating
  • Performs pre-solder and post-solder tasks to various PCB assemblies
  • Enjoys a comfortable and accommodating work environment on a production assembly line
  • Interprets customer specifications and assembly drawings
  • Promotes a sense of urgency and teamwork
  • Ensures safety by maintaining the highest safety standards
  • Inspects and measures assemblies to verify conformance to specifications
  • Participates in cross-training to expand your capabilities and skill set at Circuit Pak
  • Helps ensure procedures and records are current and ready for any audits
  • Work extended hours based on company needs

QC Inspector

The QC Inspector is responsible for inspecting PCBs manually and/or with AOI (Automated Optical Inspection.) In addition, hand placing & soldering both through-hole and SMT components on Circuit Pak’s PCB assembly floor. You enjoy the challenge of inspecting, placing and reworking components.

Essential Functions:

  • Inspects PCBs to IPC610 Class II & Class III standards
  • Assembles low to medium volume PCBAs to exacting standards
  • Inspects PCBs with AOI (Automated Optical Inspection)
  • Interprets customer specifications and assembly drawings
  • Reworks components as needed
  • Promotes a sense of urgency and teamwork
  • Ensures safety by maintaining the highest safety standards
  • Inspects and measures assemblies to verify conformance to specifications
  • Participates in cross-training to expand your capabilities and skill set at Circuit Pak
  • Helps ensure procedures and records are current and ready for any audits
